Unpacking Student Engagement – Digital Workshop
February 6 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am PST
As an educator, you understand that student engagement is critical to their success. If students are not engaged in their own learning, even the most well-planned lesson can fail to meet intended outcomes. But what is engagement, anyway? What does it mean for a student to be “engaged”? How can an educator identify when and how their students are engaged, and use that knowledge to help all students meet their individual learning goals? Join the TGR EDU: Create Educator Community – educators, like yourself, in a digital workshop – as we tackle these questions in our FREE live event.
By participating, you will:
- Define three distinct types of student engagement
- Reflect on the types of engagement used in your own practice
- Understand how to develop lessons and activities that meaningfully engage students
- Cooperate virtually with your peers in breakout rooms while experiencing an engaging STEM activity
This live digital workshop is more than your traditional webinar. All attendees are encouraged to connect via Zoom video conference!
